Butterfly garden is located in Banjar Sandan, Wanasari, or about 6 km from Tabanan (to the north). Hundreds of butterflies, which are grouped into 15 categories, were collected from every area in Indonesia. The butterflies is protected since they are quite rare, such as Troides Helena and Ornithoptera Priamus.
The enviroment was designed naturally so those butterflies will feel comfortable and can do profilerate. Many flowers, especially which become butterflies' favourite, were planted and maintained, so the butterflies don't need to worry about food.This garden was covered by net to protect the butterflies from predators.
The flabbergast thing from the garden with 35 acre is the tourists from abroad more interest to visit the garden than domestic tourist. The best time to visiting the garden is before 10.00 on local time, so we can see the hundred butterflies take food from flowers.
